Invite others to Google Wave

Google Wave is more fun when you have others to wave with, so please nominate people you would like to add. Keep in mind that this is a preview so it could be a bit rocky at times.

Invitations will not be sent immediately. We have a lot of stamps to lick.

Invite Google Wave: Father and Son

Father: What would you like for your birthday son?
Son: A google wave invite!
Father: Whats google wave?
Son: Its “a personal communication and collaboration tool” announced by Google at the Google I/O conference on May 27, 2009. It is a web-based service, computing platform, and communications protocol designed to merge e-mail, instant messaging, wikis, and social networking. It has a strong collaborative and real-time focus supported by extensions that can provide, for example, spelling/grammar checking, automated translation among 40 languages, and numerous other extensions. Initially released only to developers, a “preview release” of Google Wave was extended to nearly 1 million users beginning September 30, 2009, with the initial 100,000 users each allowed to invite up to twenty additional users.
Father: …. interesting…. (gives the son a strange look) Where could I find one?
Son: Well you can buy one on ebay for around $50.
Father: $50! For a service that will be free in a few months?
Son: But DADDY! I really want one!
Father: If you can find one free you can have it.
Son: googles “google wave invites” and finds “www.invitegooglewave.com” ‘Hey daddy look!’
Father: Maybe they would be so kind as to send one along to Volons@gmail.com because it seems they are actually giving them out unlike other sites.
Son: I really hope so!
